In addition to two areas declared protected by the Egyptian government: Lake Qarun and Wadi El Rayan National Parks. Fayoum is divided into six administrative centers, the most important of which are the cities of Fayoum, Tamiya, Sennuras, Ibshawi, Youssef Al-Siddiq, and Nadshaha.
