Tour Plan

Welcome to your 10-Day Marsa Alam, Nile Cruise Itinerary
Day 1 Arrival on the Quiet Coast of Marsa Alam & Transfer to Hotel or Resort

Arrive in Marsa Alam and transfer to a hotel or resort along the Red Sea coastline, where desert mountains meet clear turquoise water. After check-in, the rest of the day is yours to settle in—walk along the shoreline, feel the stillness of the area, and begin to shift into a slower, more grounded pace.

Day 2 Abu Dabbab Bay | Marine Life & Calm Waters

The morning takes you to Abu Dabbab Bay, one of the most accessible and rewarding snorkeling locations in the region. The bay’s calm, sandy-bottom waters create ideal conditions to move comfortably through the sea, often alongside sea turtles and schools of fish moving through the shallows.

After time in the water, remain along the beach to relax or explore nearby reef edges. The pace of the day allows for both movement and pause—never rushed, always present.

Pick up at 8 am.

Return to your resort in the late afternoon.

Day 3 Sataya Reef | Open Sea & Dolphin Lagoon

Today opens outward into the Red Sea with a full-day boat journey to Sataya Reef, often referred to as Dolphin Reef.

The experience here is different from the shoreline—wider, deeper, more expansive. Multiple snorkeling stops allow you to experience different reef formations, while the protected lagoon area offers calm water conditions where dolphins are often seen moving freely.

Lunch is served on board, surrounded by open water, before returning to shore in the late afternoon.

Pick up at 8 am.

Day 4 Wadi El Gemal | Desert Landscapes by the Sea

Shift from sea to land with a visit to Wadi El Gemal National Park, where coastal plains meet desert terrain. Explore the natural environment, pass through quiet landscapes, and experience a different side of Marsa Alam beyond the water.

Return in the late afternoon for your final evening by the sea.

Day 5 Transfer to Luxor | From Coast to Nile Valley

Depart Marsa Alam and travel inland toward Luxor. The journey itself is part of the experience—watching the environment transform from coastal desert to the green banks of the Nile. Visit Karnak Temple, exploring its vast structures and sacred spaces.

Board your Nile cruise, settling into your cabin as the next phase of your journey begins.

Overnight onboard

Day 6 Luxor West Bank | Before Sunrise Hot air Balloon Ride

This day begins in stillness. Before sunrise, Luxor holds a quiet energy—cool air, minimal movement, a sense of anticipation.

You rise into the sky in a hot air balloon, drifting over the Nile, fields, and ancient structures as the first light spreads across the landscape. It’s not just a view, it’s a shift in perspective.

After landing, continue directly to the West Bank. Enter the Valley of the Kings, where tombs are carved deep into the mountains, followed by the Temple of Hatshepsut, rising in terraces against the cliffs, and the Colossi of Memnon, standing in quiet watch.

Day 7 Day 7 – Edfu & Kom Ombo | Temples Along the River

As the cruise moves south, stop at Edfu Temple, one of the best-preserved temples in Egypt, reached by a short carriage ride through the town.

Continue sailing to Kom Ombo, where the temple stands along the riverbank, uniquely dedicated to two gods. The rhythm of the Nile becomes part of the experience, movement, stillness, and changing scenery.

Day 8 Aswan | River Landscapes & Island Temples

Arrive in Aswan, where the Nile widens and the pace naturally slows. Begin with a visit to the Temple of Philae, approached by boat across the water, giving a sense of arrival that feels different from any other site on the journey.

Afterward, continue to the Aswan High Dam for a broader view of the region, followed by an optional visit to a Nubian village, where colorful homes and local culture offer a softer, more personal close to your journey.

The afternoon is left open to enjoy your final hours along the Nile—whether through a short felucca sail around the islands or simply relaxing on board as the river moves quietly around you.

Day 9 Abu Simbel & Aswan | Monumental Morning & Nubian Culture

Depart early from Aswan for a journey to Abu Simbel, where the twin temples of Ramses II and Queen Nefertari rise dramatically from the desert near Lake Nasser. Arriving in the early morning allows you to experience the site in softer light and before peak crowds, enhancing the sense of scale and presence these temples hold.

After exploring the site, return to Aswan and rejoin your cruise. In the afternoon, you may choose to visit a Nubian Village, where colorful homes and local traditions offer a different perspective on life along the Nile.

Return to the ship in the evening for dinner onboard and a relaxed final night on the river.

Day 10 Disembarkation & Departure to Cairo

After breakfast, disembark your Nile cruise in Aswan. Transfer to the airport for your flight to Cairo, connecting with your international departure.
